My name is Beverly Troutman. I am the lead guide for the Blue Spruce primary class. This is my fourth year at Haven. I’ve been teaching since 1994, in both private and public Montessori schools in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Arizona. I am originally from North Carolina. I graduated from Meredith College with degrees in Psychology and Education. I am a proud mom of three wonderful kids - one in high school and two in college. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, cooking, listening to music, watching movies, and reading. I fell in love with the Montessori philosophy the moment I observed my first primary classroom. It is an absolute joy preparing the environment and being with the children giving lessons. I truly believe that to free the child’s potential you will transform him into the world.
